(I think I reviewed Dior New Look 1947 at some point in the past, but to recap: pale peachy-pink ultrasuede suit, pointy-toed shoes with a kitten heel, and one tuberose petal in the shoe. Oh, and cold cream. )
Thought I’d try a new photo and color scheme here, and I’ve pared down the blogroll considerably (mostly sites that aren’t updated very frequently). Also still need to add a few other blogs I’ve discovered recently, but haven’t managed that yet.
Bookworm and I went through the “spring” selections in my on-the-dresser hatbox where I keep my in-season perfumes. She still hates: Amouage Memoir Woman, L’Arte di Gucci, and Silences, as well as the opening of the Silences edp sublime. She was appalled by the Jolie Madame parfum, too, but that one has a slightly-age-damaged opening, and I’m not sure whether she’s horrified by the leather or the deteriorating aldehydes. Could be either. She’s discovered that she likes Tommy Girl and Penhaligon’s Violetta, and that she still loves Donna Karan Gold edp.
She just finished classes at Governor’s School, too, so she’s not having to get up at 5:30 am for these last two weeks of her regular classes at the high school.
OH! and we saw Inception the other night, just the two of us! Fascinating film. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks Really Sharp in a Suit, I am telling you…
Review of Micallef’s Denis Durand Parfum Couture to come soon.
